​California law requires employers take all reasonable steps necessary to prevent discrimination, harassment, or retaliation from occurring in the workplace. If the investigation concludes that there was a violation of the employer’s harassment, discrimination, and/or retaliation policies, the employer is legally required to take “immediate and appropriate corrective action” designed to end the wrongful conduct.
